Probably not the best for beginners but I certainly tried. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. Yarn colors are great and the quality of the yarn is good. All pieces/parts/supplies are included. I had fun trying to make them. 🤪

Very neat item and it would be good for someone who knows how to crochet, unfortunately I don’t know how to so I had to return but I do like the concept just thought it was more of a beginner item.

Bought for my daughter in law for Christmas and she absolutely loved it! She has been wanting it for a while so i jumped on it for her. i recommend to anyone that loves harry potter and crocheting

My sister loves everything about it. Will be looking in to other colors of yarn for her for the other characters.

This MIGHT'VE been a great kit if there was enough yarn to make Harry. As my photo shows, there's not enough dark grey to complete his trousers! I got 3 black safety eyes and one green (and I couldn't get the backs on them to save my life!), and some of the instructions are unclear. There are photos in the book for some things, but not for the difficult to understand parts. It says "Work a '3dc bob' in each of next 4 stitches..." but it doesn't give any instructions in the front of the book on what that means or how to do it.The yarn is in different weights, ranging in a slender, fingering weight, to a worsted weight, and the light and medium grey colors are almost identical, but none of them are labeled.On the other hand, the hook seems to be of good quality, it isn't 'sticky' and doesn't drag. The needle and embroidery thread are good. It says you should have a stitch marker, but there isn't one provided.All in all, I'd give it 3 stars out of 5 and say it's 100% NOT for beginners! You should be at least intermediate or advanced intermediate! And make sure you know how to make your own eyes. lol

I'm a fan of the Harry Potter books haven't gotten to these projects yet, but patterns look easy enough. A downfall...get a better hook. The one this comes with is flimsy plastic shaped like a wand, so fun to keep as a novelty.
