I don't know how people eat this! It was really gritty and it tasted like expired medication and ear wax. Don't buy this product unless you absolutely love natto, and there's definitely something wrong with people that actually eat this. I'm guessing that because it was shipped that it was nasty. Maybe if I was actually in Japan and bought it in a market I probably like it fresher. Adding rice made no difference. Also I read that if you refrigerate, it makes it worse. DO NOT BUY

The seller are cheating and trying to misleading customers. The total weight of the three small packages is 4.23 oz. Plus they are frozen, not fresh. So this brand of natto is the most expensive and the worst quality. Don't waste your money.
