I loved the look of this timepiece when a friend pointed it out to me at the current bargain price (£86) on Amazon when he heard I was looking for a new watch. In the end, I bought the watch I'd already had my eye on (a Swatch chrono to replace my reliable but worn-out 23-year-old model), but couldn't resist buying the Mondaine as well, to wear on occasion as a "dress" watch. I'm delighted I did: it's beautifully-made, lightweight, stylish, and very comfortable, with a light but strong and easily-adjustable mesh strap which I fully expect to last a lifetime, and is well admired. I suspect I shall be wearing it more often than just occasionally, just because it looks so nice. And the origin of the design makes a good conversation-piece when it gets noticed!As others have remarked, it comes in a nice presentation box with a two-year guarantee, is easy to read at a glance, and keeps perfect time (as you'd expect from a watch with a quartz movement, it's correct to the second after I've had it a week).One thing: presumably because it's so well constructed -- it's water-resistant to 3 bars, and safe for swimming in, etc (not diving, though, I imagine) -- when the battery needs replacing, it has to be sent to a Mondaine authorised service centre, as there's no obvious way for a high-street jeweller to open the case. The only centre in the UK is in Leicester, and they will fully service the watch at the same time. That's quality for you.

Lovely lovely watch. I like the station style watch face a lot. The quality speaks for itself and I love the malanaise mesh strap, very comfortable and a lot more hard wearing than leather straps that always fail around the two years mark. Received a great price in the Black Friday sales.

I normally don't leave reviews, but this watch, bought for my wife as a birthday present, deserves one. She's been wearing it for ten days and her report is that the strap is very comfortable and the rather larger size in comparison to her previous Montaine makes it easier to read. I'll update the review as we get more information.

Love the style of this watch but watch stopped after 18 months. No problem, new battery fitted but watch movement refuses to work. Like the style of the watch very much but would not buy from Amazon again.

Looks good from a distance. Nice Strap. Would not pay recommended price for this watch. I would say it's good vale if you can get it for under £80 and would certainly not recommend paying much more than £100.

Took it to jewellers and a new battery had no effect, quartz movement had failed

Very pleased indeed with this watch - case and strap very high quality and of course the design is brilliant and a complete classic. Get one - you will love it.

Smart Swiss watch at a great knock down price

L'orologio è molto bello e dall'estetica molto particolare e accattivante, il marchio non delude le aspettative.

Mijn oude mondaine horloge was op de grond was gevallen (3 mtr naar beneden op stenen) Het glas was stuk en het leder bandje gebroken. Na 10 jaar trouwe dienst was het dus tijd voor een nieuw horloge. Weer voor een mondaine gegaan maar nu met een stalen band. Zit heerlijk premium afwerking . Zn geld waard. Ben er blij mee

El diseño del reloj puede o no gustar, ya que es muy particular. Los materiales del reloj son bastante adecuados para el precio del reloj. Es bastante ligero y la milanesa tiene un tacto muy fino y no es de las que pillan los pelos. El movimiento es un cuarzo Ronda muy correcto para este rango de precios.

Dies ist meine 2. Mondaine Uhr . Das Uhrenarmband geht leider ab und zu ohne ersichtlichen Grund von alleine auf. Da die Uhr ein paar Euro kostet, habe ich in ein Zugarmband investiert. (30Euro). Mit der Uhr selbst bin ich sehr zufrieden. S.K.

Todo conforme a lo esperado, un buen reloj, a buen precio, para hombre me parece un poco pequeño, pero para mujer con la milanesa queda muy bien.
