High quality at a great price.
Thought this was two separate filters. Turns out there are two, but you cannot separate them. I also thought it was silly that they "plant 5 trees for you", yet the cardboard can they come in was filled with like 10 cardboard discs to take up space. Just seems ironic and made me lol. I'll find another use for the can as it comes with a nice cotton carry bag, and the can just looks too nice to throw away. That being said quality of the filters appears to be great. Super clean, no visible distortion in photos. Love the aluminum covers. Does what they are supposed to do for a reasonable price.

Great bang for your buck
I've owned quite a few circular polarizer filters from various brands, tiffen, hoya, b&w and a marumi exus, this last one was a beast but sadly i accidentally droped it in a river and lost it, i needed another but i didn't wanted to spend the 140 bucks it is retailing right now so i decided to give Gobe a chance, i wasn't disapointed at all, it performs just as well as the marumi for a fraction of the price an it includes a uv filter. I' m quite happy with this purchase, if you're looking for a circular polarizer on a budget the Gobe CPL is a no brainer.

A excellent choice for any photographer
I’m very impressed with the entire product line. Basically all high quality product, no complaints as to their coating or glass. The price seems reasonable and they impress me with their mission to gree up the planet. I have many lenses, I will be buying their filters instead the expensive Fuji brand I was getting. Also, their packaging is well designed, received the filter in a yellow padded envelope, that would hav3 mint death to any glass object. The dual filter kit was perfect, no damage. I’m guessing amazon is aware, but why risk any optics with a flimsy envelop?I would high recommend Gobes products.

High quality
I'll admit it was the attractive packaging that enticed me to purchase, but the quality is phenomenal. I've been doing photography for 20 years and the quality of this filter surpasses those at twice the price. Will be buying filters from this brand in the future.

Good value: The most important filters to have at a good price!
This has been a great filter set for my waterproof Olympus camera. I keep the UV filter on for protection and use the CPL as needed. Gobe has a good system with the front and back cover for filters not being used. I've only played around a little with the CPL and it appears to do a good job of polarizing and removing glare. The clear UV filter does a great job and does not seem to distort photos.

Innovative Packaging, good build quality, not quite sure on high zoom optics clarity for the Circular Polarizer
July 3 2018 The packaging and nice metal covers that protect the UV and CPL are great and innovative. I purchased the 86mm set to go on my high end Pentax DFA 150-450. and at the 150 -250 area the CPL was fine and my images were good. However, as I took the zoom all the way to 450 on the CPL I realized that it had subtle but noticeable to me optical distortion. The UV was better and I could not detect optical distortion at 450 with the UV . I do not know having not tried another 86mm CPL on this lens if that is a compatibility or quality issue. I think Gobe approach to selling filters in innovative and as that price was quite reasonable I wanted to try. I am not going to return enjoyed the fact they planted 5 trees for my purchase. I will get another 86 CPL and then do a comparison.

Good for their price range
I've bought a couple of sets of these for different lenses. I notice a slight clarity difference compared to no filter, but not enough to not keep them on all the time. I love how they screw together, so I don't have a bunch of filters rattling around in my camera bag. I assume more expensive filters look better, but I haven't tried any of those.

Very good filters for a very good price.
Like: Everything. Quality of the materials is superb, especially for the price; the way that they all attach together for easier storage if necessary is nice; the threads are deep enough and sharp enough to grab quickly and easily, and you don’t have to “torque” on the filters to make sure they stay on your lens; like I said. Everything. Finally, as a plus, the environmental “thing” is nice. I DO have to say, though, that I’m a bit confused about that. Are the trees planted automatically after a purchase is made, or only when a consumer follows through and “Registers their trees”?

Cracking filters / can be a ballache to separate.
The filters themselves appear to be made of high-quality glass and they certainly do improve colours and reduce noise in images taken on sunny days. Adjusting the CPL doesn't appear to affect the image too much but I suppose, at the lower-end of the GOBE price-range, one really cannot expect any more from these filters. The only reason I am leaving four stars in stead of five is because the UV and CPL can sometimes become wedged together and are extremely difficult to separate. I think this is purely down to the very fine threads and variations in temperature but, as I like to leave the UV on my camera permanently, it can be a real ball ache when fumbling around trying to remove the CPL.Overall: cracking filters at a very good price. And they (claim to) plant trees. What's not to like?

Optical quality appears good, presentation could be better.
The presentation box is a nice touch as is the packing of the two filters within a disk cap arrangement. However, the natty little bag they come in is dusty also leaving lint traces. I’ll be throwing that away. The QA could be a bit better as there are a number of small marks suggesting that the paint finish could be more universal. On registering my trees it took me to a US site which then asked if I wanted to go to a UK site. Unfortunately, on getting to the UK site I could not see where to register my trees. I went back to the US site. Normally I buy another brand and may well go back to them although they are more expensive.

Go-to Gobe
I recently got Fuji 50R and got a day light filter in the shop, such is my paranoia about front elements. Hoya, pricey, and curse myself for not thinking ahead. I already have a Gobe on my work cameras, so for my next lens I got another of those, as well as a polariser. When it was delivered, I remembered what great value for money, flawless optic tech and the packaging and whole 'vibe' of the many (eg sustainability, the groovy packaging) make picking them a no-brainer.

Excellent, high quality filters.
A nicely made pair of filters. They come with two screw-in plates which form a metal box for the filters - a clever idea I haven't seen before. But it means you can throw the filters into a bag knowing that they will not get damaged. Much better than the plastic boxes that other brands use. They are excellent value for money. This pair of filters cost less than half the price of a Nikon filter which got broken and which these replace.Highly recommended.

It works great until it doesn't.
Metal filter caps initially seem like a nice idea. But it keeps getting stuck. It happened to me several times where I wasn't able to remove the cap and had to use my back up (smaller cpl) polariser. I shoot artworks for a living and shooting without polariser is simply NOT an option. Yesterday I forgot to take my backup filter with me and yet again the metal filter cap got stuck. After spending 40 mins at location in front of the client (unacceptable and embarrassing tbh) I gave up and carried on shooting without polariser. I will have to spend hours on compositing to remove reflections manually. No phone number on the website for support. Bad design disguised as 'cool' product. If you are a pro, AVOID AVOID AVOID.
