when I first received this belt I didn't like. It came in a really nice box but the belt seemed over stiff and cardboard backed. As I've worn the belt a couple times I have no idea what I was thinking of. Its a beautiful and solid belt, matches great with my other black leathers and is my new favorite black belt. Really a great deal for such an quality attractive belt.

Nice looking but …
Most belts provide leeway of a notch or two from the rated size. This belt expected the 1st notch to b the exact fit … so was too tight. Had to return it.

Yes, this is leather.... sort of. The finish is a very thin veneer of "something" it may be leather, who knows, it doesn't matter. The exposed finish is very thin, even the slightest nick will reveal the real "leather" core underneath, which is not the same color of the surface. The core is a grey suede leather that sharply contrast with the beautiful outside, Once you nick the outside, you'll see a grey contrast. Don't get me wrong, this looks great new, but don't expect much use out of it. Don't buy it unless you intend to not to use it for everyday.

You will not be dissatisfied: super good quality, thick leather. Craftsmanship is high end. It's an investment, not just a thing to keep your pants up. Stretching your arms way up in crowds will show it off.

Nice belt!
I'm not into the name brand world and have never heard of Stacy Adams before, but this belt is really nice looking and feels like it'll last a very long time. So good quality and leather embossed crocodile...very cool in my opinion. The price wasn't too bad, and of course it fits very well. I'm pleased with this purchase, and I guess I now know the brand.

Cracked up to more than it is supposed to be!
First, let me say the belt is very classy looking and it is more than reasonable in price. However, the distance between the back end of the buckle and the "keeper loops" is too close. In order to put the end of the belt thru the loops, the belt must be "bent" more than normal in order to get the belt into the loops. After the first day of wearing this belt, I noticed that the leather or snake skin or whatever it is inlaid in the center is cracked. Right across the very first hole (not used) where the bending must occur, the material is cracked deeply enough to show raw material inside. Too bad for such a nice looking belt.
