Exactly as advertised. Well made. Long. No wire cutter.
This is very handy for long reach applications. The jaws are large and flat. It seems well made and durable. Like a lot of tightly-machined pliers it seems a little stiff but that usually resolves with use. It does not have a wire cutter, however, but otherwise is a very useful tool.

Debris Removal
I bought these needle nose pliers to remove debris (e.g. hair) from the drain of our bathroom sinks. It works fine for this purpose. After the cover of the stopper is removed, the pliers are small enough pull hair from the sink.

Great for long reach jobs
I use them to clean out my sink trap without taking it apart. Also good for grabbing that dropped part in your engine compartment.

EXPENSIVE -- BUT GOOD QUALITY TOOL :
Certainly not worth the price, but these Pliers are a unique tool, for which you are paying a premium. Irwin Tools are well made, but the Pricing has gotten far too high recently. For Regular Tools I no longer buy Irwin because of their High Price, but for unique tools like these Pliers ----- I reluctantly accept the high prices. Their are so many Tool choices available, that you need to shop around. The HD Rigid Tool Brand is excellent --- for half the price of Irwin Products. It is also time all of us make a Concerted Effort To Buy Tools That Are MADE IN AMERICA !

Used Tools
I purchased these pliers as a Christmas gift to my brother in law. Upon receipt of these pliers I discovered they are used! No where on the post did it mention “used” or “refurbished”. Although in good used condition I was expecting a new set. Not ideal giving a family member a used tool.

Quality tool
This is very unique tool with the flat nose design. I don't see myself needing to use this tool often but when I do it will become a favorite. It's one of those tools you cannot appreciate till you need it and I'm happy to have it in my toolbox. This tool feels very high quality, great fit and finish. The nose ends meet perfectly and squeeze together firmly. Nice addition to my assortment of Irwin tools.
